The southernmost port in the Faroe Islands. The port is welcoming and in the heart of Vágur. A deep fjord shelters Port of Vágur from currents and waves. Entering the port is safe and sound.

Port of Vágur is commodious and can accomodate 40+ sailboats. Visiting boats have access to electricity, WiFi, toilet and bath, as well as MRO-services.

Vágur 

Around Vágurfjord lies Vágur with its rich history, characteristic culture and remarkable nature. Vágur is the second largest town in Suðuroy. For more than a century, Vágur was a fishing town, but nowadays leisure-experiences are vital for the town. The people are well known for their friendliness and Vágur is famous for its New Year's Eve event, which brings culture and community together.

Activities and experiences 

Vágur has a great amount of recreational activities, for instance the swim center Páls Høll, the multi arena Marghøllin, Fablab, football, running and motion, Disc Golf, hiking and much more. Additionally, it is possible to visit the Ruth Smith Art museum, the memorial monument of Royndin Fríða, the Gothic Church of Vágur and so on. 

It is also possible to experience the natural attractions, like Vágseiði and Eggjarnar. Vágseiði is unique, because the first port of Vágur, Kleivin, was at this location, while Eggjarnar are breathtaking due to the beautiful view and birdlife.
